The Valley of the Queens is one of the most important Valley all over the world , it is located in Luxor in the western side beside the Nile where the centre of worship for the god Amun , it is close to the Valley Of The Kings . Also Luxor was known as Thebes in this time . It is the place of the pharaohs where their wives , sons , children , and few of nobles were buried . In the past this place was known as "Ta Set Neferu " which means the place of the children of the pharaohs .

This Valley has a lot of names like " Biban El- Harim , Biban El- Malekat , and Wadi El- Malekat " . All of these names refer to that it was built for loyal queens and daughters of pharaohs and to show how they appreciate women and their role in the golden ageof the pharaohs .
